About Me
I am a Louisiana native, raised partly in Baton Rouge and partly in Bayou Jack, Louisiana in St. Landry Parish. I completed high school in Opelousas, La and went to LSU for my undergraduate work. I graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Anatomy and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I am married and have 3 children. We moved back to Baton Rouge after graduation and I opened my practice in August of that year.
In addition to practicing chiropractic, I taught Anatomy for two different Massage Therapy schools for about 5 years and I continue to guest lecture for them occasionally.
I am very involved in my church and feel that serving chiropractic to my community is what I am called to do.
My focus in chiropractic is to give others a deeper appreciation of how miraculous their body is and how to take care of it and get the most out of it. I encourage my patients to take responsibility for their own health and to do the things necessary to reach their maximum potential in all areas of life. I believe that one of the foremost problems that we have is a lack of understanding and purpose when it comes to taking care of ourselves.
